Common problems that can be encountered with the Parser and the associated corrective action are provided in this section.
•No output records are being generated during execution of the Apply Engine.
Probable Cause:
1.Not all target fields are being mapped for the source records being processed. Check the Parser Report to ensure that all of the target fields are mapped.
2.For IMS or DB2 change data capture, none of the source fields changed from the before image. The Apply Engine is working as designed and no user interaction is required.
• Parser ends with a return code of 8 or higher
Probable Cause:
1.There was an error in the Apply Engine script. Check the output of the Parser Report for error messages that indicate where the Apply Engine script errors are.
