1.Identify the physical objects that will be used as source datastores. These datastore objects will be specified with DATASTORE commands in the script.
2.Gather the source datastore descriptions. These may be in the form of relational DDL, IMS DBDs, COBOL copybooks, XML DTDs, etc. These descriptions will be specified with DESCRIPTION commands in the script.
