The Source Datastore section of the Runtime Report contains the following information for each source datastore that was processed.

Source Datastore:  the name of the physical source datastore as specified in the DATASTORE command.

Alias:  the source datastore alias name as specified after the AS keyword in the DATASTORE command.

Records Selected: the number of records selected from the source datastore. The number of records selected may be less than the total number of records read (Records Read) due to filtering criteria in the script.

Records Read:  the total number of records/rows read from the source datastore.

Sample Source Datastore Statistics section is listed below.

Source Data Store.......................: CUSTOMER

   Alias...............................: CUSTOMER_IN

   Records Selected....................: 140

   Records Read........................: 140

 

The Source Datastore Statistics section for an IMS database contains details for each segment in the hierarchy as listed below. Note, that the total number of segments read will equal the total Records Read.

Source Data Store.......................: CUSTOMER

   Alias...............................: CUSTOMER_IN

   Records Selected....................: 140

   Records Read........................: 140

     CUSTROOT..........................: 100

     CUSCHLD1..........................:  10

     CUSCHLD2..........................:  30
