The SMALLJUL function returns a small Julian date from the given date in YYDDD format.

Parameter Descriptions
date OPTIONAL, if no date is given then the current date is implied
Example
Determine the Julian day from the current date and map the result to target field TGT_SMALL_JULDAY. Assume that the current date is January 31st, 2000.
TGT_SMALL_JULDAT = SMALLJUL ()
Returns the value of 00031 and maps the result to the target field.
