Both Connect CDC SQData IMS capture methods write the captured data to a z/OS system LogStream. The CDCzLog Publisher then uses TCP/IP to transport captured data and "cleans" the LogStream upon confirmation that a Unit-of-Work has been committed by all subscribing Engines.
