In our example, the Data Capture Agent and its controlling structures existed prior to the addition of this new Engine. Consequently the only modification required to the Capture Controller Daemon is the addition of the new Engine's Public Key to the Authorized Key File.
On the z/OS platform this file is locked and cannot be updated until the SQAEMON process is stopped. The file is then updated by an administrator using ISPF and the SQAEMON process restarted.
