The level of privileges required by the Connect CDC SQData Administrative User depends on the location chosen for the base product installation. Most Connect CDC SQData for UNIX customers utilize a special system account established for sqdata_user rather than an individual user account because it usually needs elevated privileges designated for configuring and executing the capture and apply processes. If necessary have the system administrator create that account.
