While the configuration and operation of the Connect CDC SQData Engine is virtually identical on all platforms, the capture agents operate under constraints that vary from one platform to another.

Oracle is essentially no different in this respect from other database managers with only a few exceptions:

•Oracle Recovery Log

•LogMiner Dictionary Function

•Oracle Wallet

•Capture Partitions
