This section guides you through the following tasks:
1.Define a new Db2 Capture/Publisher
2.Register the Source tables to be captured
3.Generating JCL to run the Capture in standalone batch mode
4.Register the Capture agent with the Daemon
5.Prepare the Db2 Capture Agent to run as a started task
Note, the Db2 z/OS Capture Agent and publisher are integrated into the same Connect CDC SQData program/address space. Although we will refer to Db2 capture/publisher agent as "Capture" most of the time, the term "Publisher" may be used from time-to-time, depending on the context of the discussion.
Management of the Db2 Capture is performed via Publishers (option 3).
