Connect CDC SQData

This Quickstart includes procedures and screen shots that illustrate a fast and simple method of creating, configuring and running the components required for VSAM Changed Data Capture.

While this Quick Start utilizes some of the JCL members included in the base product installation, it relies heavily on the Connect CDC SQData ISPF interface to facilitate a "Quick Start" using the VSAM Log method of capture.

This Quick Start is intended to supplement not replace other documents including the VSAM z/OS Data Capture and the Apply Engine Reference documentation. The answer to many of the questions that inevitably arise during initial installation, configuration and testing will be found in those documents.
